How To Use: The Amazing iPad!!!

An iPad

by Ariela

Do you have an iPad or want one? Well, I’m going to tell you some things you NEED to know about it. First, if you’re trying to decide which one to buy (the 2, 3, or 4) it doesn’t really matter. I’ll tell you why- when you get the iPad you will get a software update. That software update will make your internet faster (compared to what you have already have) That is kind of exactly the same as the most recent iPad. So it would be a waste of money to buy the 4 generation. I, myself bought the 3 generation.

How To: Tryout for Mark Twain (Art)

by Diana

Hey, are you trying out for art at Mark Twain? If you are, then you’re in luck because this post is about how to get in Mark Twain if you’re doing art. When you apply for the art program you might have to draw many different types of things that the Mark Twain judges tell you.  So, at home before the big test, try drawing many things you’re not good at drawing. When you practice you’ll do well and you won’t be as nervous. If they tell you just to draw something, draw the best thing you’re good at and you might pass. This is not just a tip about art, but it’s very important.  Study hard and try to get 100% on all different types of tests because the Mark Twain school checks your scores on other tests too.

How To: Try Out For Mark Twain

by Tanis

Mark Twain is a really good performing arts middle school in Coney Island.  They have every kind of dance. At Mark Twain, you do your work in the morning and you do the dancing in the afternoon. To get into Mark Twain, the judges don’t want to see you dance like it is a Broadway show, they just want to see how you dance so they can see if they want to let you in and work with you. To try out, make up a simple dance and show them what you’ve got! In a few months, maybe in Apirl or May, they will let you know if you’ve made it or not. Good luck!

by Tanis

Hi my name is Tanis and I am going to tell you how to do  gymnastics including a cart wheel, back bend bridge, hand stand, bridge, split, straddle down, a one handed cart wheel, a hand stand into a bridge, and a bridge kick over.

To do a cartwheel you can use your right or left leg  and you put your hand on the floor and kick over sideways and then your finished.

To do a back bend, you put your legs apart just a little bit and you go back and you land on the floor into a bridge

To do a hand stand, you can use your right or left leg, and you kick your legs all the way  up and stay there for as long as you can stay

To walk on your bridge you can go on your back, bend, and then you also move your hands back or frontward and you can keep going

To do a split, you make one leg in front and in back then  you go back as far as you can

To do a hand stand into a bridge you go to a hand stand and you lower your arms like you are doing a push up but just into the air and then  you go over and bend your legs in the air and you land into a bridge.

To do a bridge kick over you go to a bridge and then kick  over either on the floor or on high level

That is how you do gymnastics
