Unity is a 3d/2d game making program. It can be used to make other interactive 3d programs too though. Unity can be downloaded here. It is easy to use, yet can make powerful programs. It comes with essential assets and an example project. You can even make animations for characters. However, you may need a modelling program like Autodesk Maya, which unfortunately isn’t free. Maya and Unity are fully compatible with each other. Also, there are 3 programming languages used for Unity. The one I prefer is Javascript. You can learn it here. Some commands can’t be learned there, so you can also use the Unity Wiki. It talks about every command, but it doesn’t have full tutorials, which is why I am making this.
